I decided to cross-edit the same scene from the movies "Manhunter" and "Red Dragon" -- I was curious how the different actors would play off one another.
The only part I'm not crazy about is the ending(s) -- the scene ends differently in the two movies, so I had to cobble them together as best I could.
A romantic clip from the independent science-fiction thriller, "Dream Parlor" -- Eli submits to the Dream Parlor for the first time ... and at last he understands the Parlor's mass appeal. Finally, at long last, Eli meets his Dream Woman.
I was trying out a new technique of rotoscoping lightsabers -- thank you, Andrew Kramer of VideoCopilot.net! -- so I decided to use this cool scene from the original "Highlander" as my backdrop.
And yes, I realize that lightsabers should cut straight through steam pipes and other metal bars, but hey, that's the way the scene played. :-)
My fan-film (fantasy film) take on the JLA.
NOTE: I created this video *before* Aquaman had his own TV pilot or appeared on "Smallville," so at the time, I had to "customize" my own live-action Aquaman.
"ThirstY" is a collection of outtakes from our short-film, "Thirst" (based on a story from "The Darkness Within," ISBN ##0-9774535-4-5). You should probably watch "Thirst" Parts I & II first. :-)
I did not do this one myself, but as a Pug-lover, I wanted to share it. It came out a few years ago, after the "Planet of the Apes" remake was released.
A horrific scene from the independent science-fiction thriller, "Dream Parlor" -- The callous Dr. Corbit bemoans his latest failure ... even as he stands over the gory mess of his latest experiment.
A dramatic scene from the independent science-fiction thriller, "Dream Parlor" -- Eli ponders the side-effects his Dream Parlor visits are having on him ... but he has no idea how much worse the effects have been on his friend, Dana.
This was my first attempt at creating an entirely CGI fan-film using Poser software (ie, minimal backgrounds, etc.). This would hypothetically represent a scene from "Find the Force" if I ever actually make a longer version of that story.
An early promotional trailer for our independent science-fiction film, "Dream Parlor" -- one of two versions we cut together while we were still filming. This version emphasizes the film's action elements.

Very silly and very *fun*, this campy short-film was written and directed by my friend Michael Searing, and produced using The Movies game's software. "StarLove" is both a parody of and an homage to the Buck
Rogers/Flash Gordon era of sci-fi serials.
Don't take it too seriously -- we didn't! Enjoy.
This trailer for my novel, "Pandora's Game" (ISBN #978-0-9774535-2-8) was shot for fun with my friends a few years ago.
"Pandora's Game" is a supernatural thriller, published by Rising Star Visionary Press and available from Amazon.com, BN.com, or any bookstore. A free excerpt is available on my website, www.ChristopherAndre ws.com.
